Fusion Gymnastics Sports Center strives to establish the highest quality sports program in Pennsylvania. Fusion’s certified coaching staff maintains a high level of integrity, experience, and professionalism and are dedicated to helping every athlete reach their potential physically and mentally.

We believe that every child deserves the very best instruction available in their sport. Our staff strives to create a gym atmosphere that instills self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline, respect and responsibility.

Our Owners

Shelley grew up locally in Lancaster, PA and is used to managing children as a mother to Jocelynn, Brayden, Elijah, Tia, Tashae, Troia, and Taya.  You can find her in the office or in the gym helping out – whatever it takes to keep the ship heading in the right direction!  Shelley is very involved with her community.  She is director of CV Youth Cheerleading, serves on her children’s school PTO Board, and also serves on other community boards. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy and their kids.

Harry is a self-employed businessman for over twenty years that has worked with children of all ages in coaching and leadership roles.  For the past twenty two years he has served in several non-profit baseball programs throughout Lancaster County. He is passionate about helping children learn and succeed. You’ll often find Harry in the office or working one of his favorites — ‘Open Gyms.’  Harry lives in Manheim with his wife Lisa and their three children Noah, Olivia, and Dalton.

Meet The Staff


Kirk is a University of Delaware alumni and has been involved in the gymnastics world for over 20 years.  He started out his career coaching a USAG team.  Today you’ll find Kirk teaching gymnastics and tumbling classes.   Along with spending family time with his wife, Trish, and children Cierra, Kylie and Trae, you might catch him out on the roads doing some bicycle road racing.


Emily is our head USAG coach and works with many athletes in the gym.  Coach Emily competed as a gymnast and has experience coaching gymnastics for many years.  She brings her love and enthusiasm for the sport.  You can also find her teaching our adult Zumba classes – you should come try one!  When she is not in the gym, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.


Our head martial arts instructor, Gavin, 2nd Dan (二段/弐段), has trained in the forms of Hapkido, Taekwondo and Kumdo for over 9 years under the guidance of former ABKEC master instructor Gary Ireland, 4th Dan (四段). He has worked with all belt levels from beginner to advanced to second degree black belt.


Malcolm is the face that greets you in the office each day.  You’ll see him teaching gymnastics classes and managing office tasks.  If you need a form or have a question, call or stop in and ask!


Bethany is current pursuing a degree at Millersville University and is the head coach for Fusion’s USAIGC Team.  Bethany has over 16 years of gymnastics experience as a competitive gymnast and team coach.  Her “favorite part of coaching is watching the girls progress, grow and learn new skills!”


Alissa graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Kinesiology.  She works full time as a Quality Engineer and coaches in the evenings.  Alissa competed for 10 years and coached Mini Team throughout high school and coached at The Little Gym. On  weekends,  she enjoys going to Penn State football games, cross-fit and photography.


Britney instructs school age classes and you’ll see her on open gym nights and at birthday parties.   She started gymnastics at the age of five, and is currently a Junior at Manheim Township High School.   “Being able to stay involved in the gymnastics community by teaching younger kids is truly enjoyable.”


Coach Kaelin is currently enrolled at Ursinus College where she continues to compete gymnastics.  She assists with coaching the USAG and USAIGC teams and you will see her working with many of the athletes in the gym.

Debbie began coaching gymnastics in 1994 and has experience coaching up to the highest level 10 including doing floor and beam choreography.  When she was younger, she was heavily involved in Ballet, dancing with Bergen Dance Theatre and studying in New York.   She holds a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and a Master’s in Counseling and is a volunteer with pregnant and parenting teens.  Her and her husband have three children ages 16, 14, and 10.  “I take the most joy in helping these girls grow into hardworking, compassionate, and resilient young ladies.”


Courtney lives in Ephrata with her husband and two cats. She received her Bachelor in Social Work from James Madison University and works full-time with children in the foster care system. As a former competitive gymnast, Courtney loves gymnastics and has enjoyed keeping it a part of her life as a coach for the USAIGC Team.


Joslyn is one of the coaches for USAG and other athletes in the gym.   She is home grown – a member of the Acceleration’s USAG team for seven years and competed up to level 9.  She participated in TOPS testing and qualified for the national level test at the Bela Karolyi’s ranch, a name you may have heard of from the Olympics.  She is currently studying at HACC.


Wendy is a mother of a USAG gymnast and a Fusion Martial Arts instructor.  You’ll see her in the office and she also teaches some of our preschool classes.


Heather is a Fusion Preschool Assistant Instructor.  Her daughter is on the Fusion USAG team.  She has a passion for inspiring little ones to love the sport of gymnastics!
