Meet The Staff

Kirk is a University of Delaware alumni and has been involved in the gymnastics world for over 20 years.  He started out his career coaching a USAG team.  Today you’ll find Kirk teaching gymnastics and tumbling classes.   Along with spending family time with his wife, Trish, and children Cierra, Kylie and Trae, you might catch him out on the roads doing some bicycle road racing.

Bethany is current pursuing a business degree at Millersville University and is the head coach for Fusion’s USAIGC Team.  Bethany has over 16 years of gymnastics experience as a competitive gymnast and team coach.  Her “favorite part of coaching is watching the girls progress, grow and learn new skills!”

Debbie began coaching gymnastics in 1994 and has experience coaching up to the highest level 10 including doing floor and beam choreography.  When she was younger, she was heavily involved in Ballet, dancing with Bergen Dance Theatre and studying in New York.   She holds a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies and a Master’s in Counseling and is a volunteer with pregnant and parenting teens.  Her and her husband have three children ages 16, 14, and 10.  “I take the most joy in helping these girls grow into hardworking, compassionate, and resilient young ladies.”

Wendy Kingsley

Wendy joined the Fusion family August 2017 as the USAG Head Coach. Even though this is her second year coaching, she is well versed in the sport of gymnastics with over 15 years of exposure. Her daughter, Aila was a USAG Level 10 gymnast and competed at Fusion for the 2016-17 season, before she passed away in May of 2017. Wendy has been a Special Education teacher for over 17 years and a Special Ed Supervisor for the last 3 years. She also is a mother of an 18 year old son. She is excited to be part of the Fusion family and build up the USAG team.

My name is Kelly Testa and I’m a sixth grade science teacher for PA Cyber Charter School.  This will be my second year coaching the Trampoline and Tumbling Team at Fusion.  I have two children on the team, Tony and Lindsey Rago.   One of my favorite things about coaching is helping athletes develop new skills and playing an active role in helping them to grow as an athlete.  I really love T&T because it gives athletes a chance to participate in a competitive sport, without all the pressure. My favorite event is the double-mini.  The double-mini trampoline really forces athletes to break out of their comfort zone, and truly be fearless. My athletes throw themselves 20 feet in the air without hesitation, they truly love to bounce!

Malcolm is the face that greets you in the office each day.  You’ll see him teaching gymnastics classes and managing office tasks.  If you need a form or have a question, call or stop in and ask!

Draelyn is a junior in high school. She is a competitive cheerleader of 5 years with our sister program, Keystone Platinum Allstars. Draelyn loves teaching our tiny gymnasts in class. She plans to further her education at Shippensburg University in the Fall of 2019 majoring in Early Childhood.

Kate joined us in 2017. She competed as a gymnast for five years and is currently attending Millersville University for her Bachelors in social work. Kate is our Pre Team Coach and teaches other classes. When not at Fusion she likes hanging out with friends and hiking.

Elichia is a former competitive gymnast and a competitive power lifter. She teaches our school age gymnasts and our tumbling classes. She attended Millersville University.

Tara is an Eastern University graduate with her Master’s Degree in Special Education and Undergraduate in Early Childhood Education. Her passion is educating and helping children grow across all environments. She spends her daytime in a Pre K Counts Classroom and can be found at Fusion in the evenings teaching preschool and school age classes. She has a daughter who is training on Fusion’s USAG Team

You’ll see Wendy at the front desk answering phones or showing you where to go. She studied political science at Millersville University. Her daughter competes on our USAIGC Team and has been a part of our gym for over nine years.

My name is Tony Rago and I am a junior at Warwick High School.  In my spare time I am busy working on my Eagle Scout award and teaching trampoline classes at Fusion.  I love teaching trampoline classes because I get to see the students progress from week to week.  I try to make class fun and exciting for the athletes by using games to teach new skills. I am also on the Trampoline and Tumbling Team, where I both compete and coach.  I am currently the State and Regional champion in both trampoline and double-mini.  My favorite even is the double-mini because it enables me to learn more challenging skills.
