PRESCHOOL (BOYS AND GIRLS)
Designed for our youngest athletes, they will amaze you as they build strength, coordination, and self-confidence by climbing, crawling, swinging, and jumping their way through the gym. With mom or dad there to assist, your young one will feel safe to try new things.
Independence and self-control are mastered as young athletes attend class for the first time without a parent. Children enhance their gross motor and coordination skills while learning the fundamentals of gymnastics.
Young athletes continue to learn the fundamentals of gymnastics through cartwheels, handstands, rolls, and working on the equipment. We work to enhance their gross motor and coordination skills, helping them to stengthen their bodies and grow their minds.
The top of the mountain for our preschool children. This class builds on the fundamentals of gymnastics while preparing our athletes for our Level One Classes. Athletes will practice cartwheels, handstands, bridges and working on all of the equipment.
PRESCHOOL BOYS AND GIRLS
JUST FOR BOYS
Our boys program offers classes designed specifically for school-age boys.
Boys train on the same equipment as in the Olympics – Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, Horizontal (High) Bar, and Floor.
Boys Fall Classes
(begin after Labor Day, Sept 5)
JUST FOR GIRLS
This Level I Class designed for school-age girls promotes individual development in gymnastics. Students train on the same equipment as in the Olympics – Floor, Uneven Bars, Beam, and Vault. At this level, gymnasts work on basic skills, with a building-block program designed to advance when the gymnast is ready. These are structured classes with a comprehensive curriculum that follows standards set by the governing body of gymnastics in the USA.
The Level II class is an intermediate class for girls who are proficient in basic skills on four events – floor, bars, beam, and vault. Students have mastered cartwheels and handstands, and feel comfortable demonstrating skills on the girl’s gymnastics equipment in the gym.
The Level III class is our most advanced class. Athletes showing aptitude are invited to join this class. Athletes have the opportunity to compete as part of the Fusion Gymnastic’s Girls Team in local, regional, and national competitions throughout the State and the USA.
