Trampoline and Tumbling

Fusion is a USA Gymnastics (USAG) member club, specializing in TRAMPOLINE AND POWER TUMBLING, and competing in USAG sanctioned Trampoline & Tumbling (T&T) events in Region 6, which includes Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, and in the USAG TT National Meet.

The current team of athletes range in age from 8 to 14.  New team members are generally recruited from gymnastics classes. Other members have come from people who want to compete in gymnastics, but are daunted by the rigors of artistic gymnastics; or sometimes from students spotted in Open Gym by a coach or instructor. Trampoline and Tumbling has been described as an extreme sport, and can be a controlled outlet for sensation seekers. Fusion athletes are coached by a National Champion who also serves as judge for the TNT meets in the region.
